The Table at De Meye
Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown and gathered in our kitchen garden, as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and goats cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside an historic farm building with its half-metre thick whitewashed walls and wood burning stove. Here you will find our modest pantry stocked with homemade preserves, chutneys and pickles. A recently added extension with glass walls looks out onto the lawn and vineyards.
